mondays with mom

i chose mondays to keep my kids to myself.
we have no friends over and they go to no ones house.
they are all mine for the whole day.
now for some of you moms who have the privilege to be home with your kids all
day this just might not make sense to you, but for me,
quality time just doesn't happen around here unless you make it happen.so i'm posting a few mondays to remember them.

the seattle aquarium

we never tire of touching the creatures in the sea pools

just like when i was a kid, we soaped up the slide, turned on the sprinkler and got all soapy wet!

a monday at the ceramics place, then off to Fat Burger for lunch

the sprinkler under the trampoline, for a soaking good time!

monday at monica's parents pool, they have quite the estate in woodway, with 2 pools to chose from and 2 hot tubs to enjoy!

needless to say, we stayed for hours!

so far we have had tons of fun, and this mondays with mom experiment has let me stop and take time to appreciate my kids!

the summer could just fly by in the blink of an eye,

this way we are creating summer memories i hope my kids will cherish for their lifetime.

i plan on continuing this tradition for the rest of the summer,

chastin and shilo look forward to what we will do on the next monday

but i think this mom looks forward to spending time with the kids way more than they know.
